TMT Finance partners IHS Towers to hold telecoms conference in Lagos

TMT Finance, a London-based news and events company, said on Tuesday that it has teamed up with IHS Towers, Africa’s largest telecoms infrastructure provider, to hold the inaugural TMT Finance Africa conference in Lagos.
The company said the conference will gather over 60 international and regional chief executives, chief financial officers, strategy heads, private equity chiefs, and senior investment bankers, consultants and lawyers to discuss the latest investment strategies for telecoms, media and technology (TMT) across Africa.
“With now just a month to go we are really excited to be holding this event at such a critical phase for investment and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in Nigeria and Africa’s telecom, media and technology sectors,” said Ben Nice, Director, TMT Finance Africa in Lagos. “Lagos is the hub for innovation in Africa and the conference will act as a crucial dialogue between local, regional and international stakeholders and decision makers in the sector.”
Key discussion points on the agenda include, African telecoms M&A and financing, Africa broadband infrastructure investment, digital Africa strategies, venture capital and private equity in Africa TMT, the evolution of the African tower company, protecting risk, datacenters and enterprise cloud services, and connecting the unconnected.
According to TMT Finance, key executives will be attending the conference from companies such as: Airtel, MTN, Vodacom, MainOne, DLA Piper, Etisalat, IHS Towers, Ntel, Jumiah, Nokia, Standard Bank, Emerging Capital Partners, Carlyle, Barclays, African Capital Alliance, IpNX, Rack Centre, Spectranet, Iroko, FIbersat, Standard Chartered, Citi and many more.
The TMT Finance Africa will hold on September 20 at Four Points Hotel by Sheraton, Lekki, Lagos.
