ExecuJet expects delivery of Super Versatile Jet for African operations

The PC-24 SVJ is a twin-engine business jet developed by the Swiss aircraft manufacturer, Pilatus.
ExcuJet, a subsidiary of the Luxaviation Group, has announced that it is expecting the delivery of a Pilatus PC-24 Super Versatile Jet (SVJ) in October. The business aviation company, in a recent statement, said it would be the first company to operate and manage a Pilatus PC-24 in Africa.
The aircraft will be based in South Africa at the Cape Town International Airport, and ExecuJet will manage its day-to-day operations.
“Africa is the perfect environment for the PC-24, with its testing terrain and challenging runways,” said Gavin Kiggen, Vice President – Africa, ExecuJet. “We are honoured to be the first business aviation operator to manage the aircraft in the region. We are looking forward to welcoming the aircraft when it arrives at our Cape Town facility in October.”
According to the statement, the PC-24 SVJ is a twin-engine business jet developed by the Swiss aircraft manufacturer, Pilatus. It is adjudged a super versatile jet because of its flexibility and ability to operate in and out of very short and unpaved runways.
The twin-engine jet will be available for charter soon after it is delivered in October. With six passengers on board, the Pilatus jet can fly nonstop from Cape Town to Angola, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique; and from ExecuJet’s fixed-base operator in Lanseria International Airport in Johannesburg. Passengers can reach Congo, Tanzania, Kenya, and Mauritius.
ExecuJet has operations in Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. It currently manages about 165 business jets worldwide.
