European Petrochemical and Refining Congress holds in May

The European Petrochemical and Refining Congress, a downstream oil and gas conference, will bring together policymakers, investors, leading oil and gas companies, international experts and end-users. Organised by the BGS Group, the conference aims to provide an effective atmosphere for communication and business interaction among industry players and investors.
According to a statement released on Monday, the conference – which is scheduled to take place on May 22-23 in Hamburg, Germany – will focus on leveraging new technologies to increase profitability; navigating environmental regulations and the related challenges; as well as emergent solutions for process-specific operations (hydrotreating, pretreat and hydrocracking procedures).
The event seeks to foster genuine communication between National Oil Companies, EPC and Refineries and address trends such as Catalysts, Oil Refinery design, OpEx, Asset Optimization, Internet of Things and a host of other important issues. Highlights of the conference will include the exchange of experiences and study cases in collaboration with 40 distinguished speakers and 250 industry experts.
“Delegates will have a chance to introduce themselves in person to establish new business relations and find potential partners at VIP-meetings between the petrochemical companies and suppliers for the downstream sector,” BGS Group said.
During the conference, BGS Group said exhibition areas for manufacturers and service providers will showcase state-of-the-art petroleum refining technologies and innovations.
