Zenith Bank to host second edition of lifestyle event
News Highlight
Style by Zenith is the bank’s flagship lifestyle fair for promoting retail businesses and the creative industry in Nigeria.
Zenith Bank, a leading Nigerian commercial bank, is set to host the second edition of its lifestyle event, tagged “Style by Zenith 2.0.” The aim of the event is to provide a platform to promote retail businesses and the creative industry in Nigeria, while also facilitating the growth of small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs).
Style by Zenith 2.0 is the bank’s flagship lifestyle fair dedicated “to intentionally celebrating the ‘small’ things that make ‘big’ differences in our lives,” according to a statement issued by the bank on Thursday. The maiden edition of the initiative took place in 2018.
Speaking on the rationale for Style by Zenith 2.0, at a press briefing on Thursday, Temitope Fasoranti, Executive Director of Zenith Bank, said, “Banking, for Zenith Bank, means going that extra mile to be present in the lives of our customers. Driven by a culture of excellence and providing cutting edge solutions, the bank is championing this cause to enable individuals and businesses to grow wealth.”
He added that beyond providing financial solutions, Zenith Bank seeks to be a reliable partner to its customers, ensuring that they excel on every front. “We will be helping people do what they know how to do best and repositioning them for greater levels of success in their various endeavour,” Fasoranti said.
Kicking off the array of activities is the ‘Style by Zenith 2.0’ Fitness Walk, which will take place in August across five cities, namely: Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano and Onitsha. It is being held in conjunction with Mass Medical Missions, a non-profit organization; and Venus Medicare, a leading health management organisation.
The Fitness Walk will serve as a platform to promote Mission Pink Cruise – a project of Mass Medical Missions supported by Zenith Bank – which is aimed at taking holistic cancer prevention ideas and health promotion to various communities across the country, using Mobile Cancer Centres. Interested individuals can participate by visiting www.zenithbank.com/style when registration begins.
The ‘Style by Zenith 2.0’ will also feature conferences, online engagements, and a special event for models that builds on the masterclass held last year. There will also be special play arcade and activities designed for children at the fair, as well as free medical check-ups, free eye and dental tests for all attendees. The main fair will take place on November 29 to December 1, and is themed, “The Style, The Life, You Desire.”
Virtual Xchange Limited, a strategic partner for the global television network, Fashion One, is an organising partner for the event.
