Lagos conference to highlight sales strategies for driving revenue growth

The Sales Leadership Conference 2020 will take place on March 6-7 at the MUSON Centre.

C-level executives across West Africa will meet this week at the third edition of the Sales Leadership Conference (SLC) scheduled to take place in Lagos on March 6-7. The aim of the two-day event is to equip participants with the methodologies and strategies to drive revenue and growth in their respective organisations, according to Sales Ruby, Nigeria’s leading sales and revenue leadership organisation.

The SLC 2020 is expected to bring together a much larger number of participants, compared to the last two editions, which held in 2018 and 2019. In a statement to Financial Nigeria, a media partner to Sales Ruby, the event organiser said the upcoming SLC will be the biggest revenue-focused conference in West Africa. About 1,000 participants, including revenue leaders, CEOs, Chief Revenue Officers Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Sales Officers, Senior Sales Executives, Brand Executives, Product Managers and other senior executives will attend the event at the MUSON Centre.     

Among the 80 organisations to be represented are MTN, AXA Mansard Insurance Plc, FrieslandCampina Plc, RenMoney, etc. About 30 speakers have been confirmed for the conference, including Adekunle Adebiyi, Chief Sales Distribution at MTN; Benedict Chukwurah, Head of Corporate Strategy at Heritage Bank Plc; Winston Nolan, CEO, SalesMachine, South Africa; Femi Oshinlaja, Regional Director at Airtel; Idemudia Dima-Okojie, DHL's Regional Marketing Manager for West Africa; Uti Gabriella-Ellu, Head of Customer Engagement at Allianz Plc; and Bunmi Jembola, Sales Ruby's Founder.

The various participating organisations that are looking to improve their sales performance and increase revenue cut across various sectors such as banking and other financial services, FMCGs, consulting, technology, education, agriculture, health and health management, energy, oil and gas, among others.  

The Lagos-based Sales Ruby said it helps organisations across the sectors to improve their sales and marketing return on investment (ROI). The company said it leverages cutting edge technology to enable clients launch go-to-market strategies, product launches, training, recruitment and other operations to ramp up sales.

The SLC 2020 will provide participants with significant networking and learning opportunities. Sales Ruby said its previous conferences facilitated the closure of sales worth hundreds of millions of naira both during the events as well as from relationships that were developed from the events. With more participants expected at this year's conference, the business opportunities are expected to be in multiples.

Participants will also learn how modern organisations are driving revenue in new and innovative ways, Sales Ruby stated. They will also get a chance to attend the Revenue Leadership Awards gala night where top-tier revenue leaders in West Africa will be celebrated.
