MIS Training Institute is delighted to announce that the 10th Audit, Risk & Governance Africa Conference will be hosted 14-18 September 2015 at the Kigali Serena Hotel - Kigali, Republic of Rwanda. The continent’s only pan-African audit & governance event is attended by Ministers, Auditor Generals, Board Members & CEOs; over 40 international and regional speakers, 5 African Keynotes and 30 countries represented.

Following successful events in Mombasa, Zanzibar, Accra, Mauritius and Maputo and now in its 10th year, the conference brings together the most senior and experienced auditor generals, director generals and risk and compliance officers from across Africa to present case studies of their experiences, discuss the ongoing challenges they face and share best practice with the wider community of audit, risk and governance practitioners.

Rwanda has been chosen as the location to host the tenth anniversary conference based on its achievements of ‘zero tolerance’ in the fight against corruption. Recent activity in the financial markets in Rwanda signals strong confidence in growth and is an indicator that a national deployment of ‘zero tolerance’ to corruption and strong governance and leadership is being rewarded. This demonstration of strong corporate governance serves as a powerful national case study not only within Africa but at an international level. The Rwandan Government will present a national case study on how this success was achieved and what other countries can learn from this.
