I have used Virgin Nigeria before and after the relocation and can say it does make a difference for easy of connection. However, I must observe that moving VK from the international terminal has created an extra entrance to the waiting lounges for international travelers, hence easing the long queues at the immigration checkpoint. I do not know the details of the MOU between Virgin group and FGN, but with all the recent dust VK raised about MMA2, which have been rebuffed, coupled with the fact that other airlines such as Aero Contractors, which are known for high standards have been operating from the MMA2 without any publicized complaints, it makes it difficult to believe VK's claims. That said, there must be some solution to moving passengers between the two terminals which I have no doubt VK can implement to solve the problem of transfers. Several airports in Europe where Virgin operates have very complicated transfers between flights, involving bus and train rides, after going through immigration. I do not know if Virgin has complained about any of those yet. Lastly, this episode should teach a lesson to all those who rather than do business on the table, prefer to go under and make "special" deals. You special deal expires the moment your special partner leaves the table.
