The Global Sustainable Finance Conference 2016 will promote knowledge and help build networks for creating shared value, financing and investing for a sustainable future.

The conference will bring together government authorities and financial services leaders to discuss operational strategies for the global framework for making the world economically, socially and environmentally sustainable by 2030, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, which were adopted by the UN member states on September 25, 2015.

The GSFC 2016 will promote knowledge and help build networks for creating shared value, financing and investing for a sustainable future. The programmes will address:

• Innovations in financing for large scale projects


• Innovations in SME finance


• Innovations in microfinance, financial inclusion and rural finance


• Financing and investing in the fields of sustainable energy, green real-estate, biotechnology, organic agriculture, sustainable infrastructure and projects that contribute in our transformation to sustainable economy.

The conference programme also includes visits to local sites in Germany for green energy, public infrastructure, smarter city initiative of the City of Karlsruhe, and an excursion to the Black Forest National Park, a protected area by the State of Baden- Wuerttemberg, Germany (optional).

Sustainable Finance Awards
