It is the second year in a row that the GTB has won the accolade, an award that was given, according to Euromoney Editor Clive Horwood, in recognition of the GTB's strong performance during turbulent times for the Nigerian banking sector.

Deputy Managing Director Segun Agbaje commended the commitment of the bank's staff throughout the world for their continued efforts.

The second consecutive award for the GTB comes in the same year as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.
